Cookie Fun for Everyone
Support your local Habitat affiliate and decorate Christmas cutout cookies! The cookies are already baked and we provide the frosting and sprinkles! Decorate and leave the mess for us to clean up. Eat them yourselves or have them wrapped to give as a gift.
Cookies are $11 a dozen or $6 for a half dozen

THE POWER OF HOME
If we have learned anything from the COVID-19 crisis, it’s that our ability to thrive during a shelter-in-place mandate is directly tied to the safety and stability of our housing. Problems such as safe, healthy and affordable housing along with food/financial instability for Michigan families cause further concern beyond the risk of contracting COVID-19.
The Power of Home – Michigan Campaign, is our opportunity to raise funds statewide to better equip affiliates to stabilize housing in their communities. Through the generosity of Consumers Energy Foundation, they are offering affiliates $100,000 in match funds- every $2.00 raised in the campaign receives an additional $1.00 match money. We need your HELP to meet our State-wide goal of $200,000 and receive these match funds.
Our Manistee County Habitat for Humanity Goal is $10,000. In 2019, we completed a new home for a disabled veteran and his disabled son along with constructing three (3) handicap accessible ramps.
We are scheduled to start a new build for a hardworking partner family as soon as the Shelter-at- Home ban is lifted.

SpartanNash Foundation, Family Fare Supermarkets supports Habitat during fundraising effort
The SpartanNash Foundation – the charitable giving arm of SpartanNash and its family of Family Fare Supermarket stores – is hosts its annual fundraising effort to benefit our local Habitat, and you can join us in building hope and affordable housing!
The retail scan campaign runs February every year and store guests who visit any of the Family Fare stores in our area will have the opportunity to donate $1, $5 or $10 at any checkout lane. One hundred percent of all funds raised during the scan campaign to help build hope and affordable housing will go directly to our local Habitat!
