Manistee County Habitat for Humanity is more than swinging a hammer; it takes planning, fundraising and loads of hard work to build a house. We need people like you to make that happen! No matter what your skill set is, there is an opportunity for you to help a family.
As always, financial help is much appreciated. Manistee County HFH is a non-profit organization and relies heavily on donations from our supporters to fund our programs.

Manistee County Habitat for Humanity Handicap Ramps for Homeowners
IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF A HANDICAP RAMP, WE HAVE FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Wheelchair ramp construction
How It Works: Families at 60% of Area Median Income can qualify for the critical repair program and must be a resident of Manistee County. Handicap ramp accessibility program partner families meet the same three foundational principals as other Habitat for Humanity families:
1. The need for adequate shelter.
2. Needs to be a Consumers Energy and/or DTE customer.
3. A willingness to partner with Manistee County Habitat.
Criteria
Families at or below 60% Area Median Income( See chart below)
Both home and the property must be owned by the homeowner/occupant.
All projects shall be performed in compliance with local building codes.
All applicants must complete the Homeowner Assessment and Agreement and be interviewed by a Habitat representative.
